Teaching M2C (the Mesoamerican/two-Cumorahs theory)
Scripture Central, the new umbrella for Book of Mormon Central (which is owned by BMAF), features a new logo that somewhat generic but visually appealing and, hopefully, depicts the concept of multiple working hypotheses.
Unfortunately, their legacy M2C logo is still featured on their pages for the Book of Mormon and Pearl of Great Price.
It's amazing that Jack Welch and his collaborators still haven't realized how ridiculous the M2C logo is because of the Mayan glyph.
Worse, the M2C logo excludes English, which is the language of the Doctrine and Covenants and other modern revelations. And, of course, it is the original language of the Book of Mormon itself, since we don't have the ancient manuscripts Joseph translated.
Here's what the logo should look like to represent the Bible (Hebrew and Greek), the Book of Abraham (Egyptian) and the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and other materials in the Pearl of Great Price.
So long as the M2C logo persists, we will see Scripture Central betray its promise by continuing to promote M2C as the only acceptable interpretation of the text.
